The 10th Annual Gulf Coast
Writers and Storytellers Conference
Saturday, September 19, 2009
Dear Writers,
Thank you for your interest in our 10th annual writers’ conference. Once again, we have assembled a variety of accomplished writers, editors, and agents who will present informative workshops, lectures, and panel discussions, addressing differing aspects of writing, editing, publication, and promotion. Past attendees have complimented our conferences on being both informative and inspirational.
This year, we’re pleased to announce that our special guest will be the phenomenal Michael Connelly.
He will join our accomplished faculty for another wonderful year of inspiration and education. Past presenters have included, Alafair Burke, Jim Pascoe, Jim Huang, Margaret Coel, Benjamin M. LeRoy, Terry Lewis, Lynn Wallace, Mark Ryan, Cricket Freeman, Douglas Wells, Tony Simmons, River Jordan, S. V. Date, and Michael Lister.
In addition to a day of workshops and panels, we will be hosting a special keynote speaker luncheon with guest of honor Michael Connelly.
We are thrilled to again be holding this year’s conference in the Language Arts Building of Gulf Coast Community College (5230 W. Hwy 98, Panama City, FL).
We have found that each participant in past conferences has added great dimension and diversity to the experience of our conference, so please see yourself not only as a participant, but as a valued contributor to this celebration of craft and artistic endeavor.
Sincerely,
Michael Lister
PS. We’re also having our Sixth Annual Novel Writing Contest. The winner will be published by Pottersville Press in 2010. For more information go to: www.GulfCoastWritersConference.com or www.PottersvillePress.com
